Metanoia

Well isn't this perfect she thought. The pack was now circling her; cutting off all exits. She closed her eyes and waited for death. Pain. The burning pain of new wounds or the icy cold of numbness.

She felt nothing. Not even as she heard the snarling And growling. The pained yelps and the fleeing paw steps. She opened her eyes to see a leopard. Not just a leopard but a black leopard. And like the wolves, it was bigger than any leopard Should have been. It turned its pale green eyes towards her.

She blinked and it started to change. Within seconds She was looking at a boy. He looked her age and was unbelievably gorgeous. Black hair that was the same color of the leopard and the same pale green eyes, and three stripes on his face.

"What clan do you belong to?" He asked as he scanned the surroundings. When she just looked at him puzzled he spoke again, "all females are taught to avoid the wild beasts. What clan has failed you? They would have torn you to shreds and with no care. You are lucky I was here."

"And who are you?" She asked him. He looked at her for a moment.

"Zion. From the leopard clan." He looked at her for a long moment before continuing, "you have no marks, do you not have any mates yet?" He sighed when she shook her head, still confused,"odd, you are Quite beautiful. Come back to my village with me." When she made no move to get up he held out his hand to help her. "I saved your life, I have clam to become one of your mates."

The girl hesitated before she grabbed his hand. She didn't know him or his customs. Okay, she knew his name but that was it. She didn't want to offend him if she could avoid it. She knew nothing of the rules here. She didn't even know where here was. All she knew: she wasn't on earth anymore.
