The Only Exception ~ Max Verstappen

Julia Sheehan, part of the Netflix production team. When she got told that she'd be travelling the world, filming a new season called Drive To Survive, about Formula One. She was glad her brother, Robert enjoyed the sport, telling her everything about it. Max Verstappen, was not impressed that the races were now getting filmed. He understood why, doesn't mean he needs to like the idea. Until the very first time he laid eyes on her. A beautiful brunette, with a funny accent, he could barley understand. His sister, Rosemary saw this and took it as an opportunity to find out more about the girl and befriend her. Julia had a boyfriend is the first thing Rose told Max, making his spirits of getting to know the women dampen.

Only to bump into her spilling his drink all over her equipment, making the girl quickly mad. Max could barely understand a word the girl was yelling at him, staring at her like she was the only girl in the world. When Julia realised Max wasn't listening she stormed away, pissed of about her now broken camera. The next day Max found her sitting in catering, when Julia saw him she rolled her eyes and stood up to make her way out of the room only for the blonde to step in front of her blocking her escape. He then smiled and presented her with a new, very expensive camera and loads of memory cards. He then apologised from the previous day and offered her to go to lunch, which she accepted.

They built a good friendship, walking and chatting around the paddock when they weren't busy, and going out for food became a consistent thing for them. One day Julia didn't come to work, and concerned Max asked around, they just told him she didn't feel okay. After the qualifying he raced to her hotel where she was staying and helped himself into her room seeing it a mess. He walked into her room, to see her sobbing her heart out. Her boyfriend had dumped her after she revealed she was pregnant. Max promising himself to be there for her, and the unborn baby.
