The world was deemed unliveable in 2025. Humans were moved to space stations in order to survive, looking for a new planet to call home. The year is now 2050, and we still have not found a planet. I was born on this ship but my parents were alive when Earth 'died.' I've been chosen to journey to the planet of Alalea in hopes of finally finding somewhere to live. I never thought I would call this place home until I met him. (Based on the world of avatar. This story and characters are completely original and my own!)
The Genesis Cosmos: The Displacement of the Sun (Volume I)
On December 21, 2012, without warning, the Solar System suddenly got transported into another world. Humanity quickly noticed the change in the skies and in the cosmos. As panic spread, all human devices were disrupted, gadgets shut down and telecommunications went static. A mysterious woman then appeared on every screen, claiming to be a goddess. It was revealed that she was the one who summoned the Solar System, explaining that she had done it for a reason that she's been searching for life beyond her cosmos for eons. She then wishes to learn more about humanity's way of life by sending her creations to Earth. What will come of humanity after this event? How will they cope with such an unprecedented phenomenon unlike anything in Earth's history, especially that it occurred right on the date that humanity feared the most: 21st of December, 2012, the date that many feared to be the end of the world? In a distant future where humanity has abandoned Earth in favor of colonizing the entire universe, the dangerous job of piloting ships has been delegated to androids. When one of those pilots goes on a murderous rampage, it's set to be decommissioned by the Magnus-Barlowe corporation. Unfortunately, this AI is self-aware, and the engineer is an idiot. A scientist staging a prison break steals both a ship and the android to be its pilot, hoping to escape the claws of capitalism. An opportunity to do just that is presented when the mismatched crew is presented with a task: rescue the kidnapped daughter of a black-market salesman and be granted safe passage to a planet without a single MBC colony to bother them. Even though making deals with thieves is generally regarded as a bad idea, there doesn't really seem to be a choice for these wayward souls.
