The United States is home to both Anthrokind and Mankind, coexisting under the same banner, and it has been 12 long years since the catastrophic event known as the anarchy wreaked havoc in the once-sunny state of California. The disaster left the state in ruins, destroying nearly everything that was once prosperous and leaving behind a mere shadow of its former self. Despite years of painstaking rebuilding efforts, California is now regarded as the most dangerous place to live in all of North America.

Enter Connor Teigen, who was among the numerous victims of the catastrophe, and as a result, he has endured a life filled with pain. Despite this, he is determined to give the world a second chance by joining the San Francisco Police Department.
Connor must balance everyday life while striving to help keep the City safe from a potential second catastrophe.
