A fictional retelling of what happened before the events of the Calamity in the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This tells of when Princess Zelda met the four champions and her personal knight, Link. Her journey through Hyrule is a battle not only against time but with herself as she struggles to try to unlock her sealing power.

(Note that this is not canon to the Legend of Zelda series. Nor is it linked to Nintendo in anyway. It is just how I interpreted the game so if you do not enjoy my opinion then feel free to stop reading at any time!)

Link: a rogue troublemaker who steals from village people, flirts with all the women, and tortures the people of Hyrule. Living life the way he wants it, no rules, and not a care in the world. Zelda: a woman who gets tangled with the wrong people and doesn’t know that she was kidnapped as a child and is really the true ruler of Hyrule. She has a split personality where she thinks she’s Sheik, a worrier who fights for good. Ganondorf: the ruler of Hyrule who killed the king for his throne. He knows about Zelda being the real ruler but has kept that a secret this entire time. He also knows that Link is suppose to be the hero of time but doesn’t seem threatened by a rogue troublemaker. This story takes on a whole new twist of the Legend that I created. I do not own any characters, settings, or history in this story. This is just purely a fun fan fiction of the best video game ever. I hope you enjoy!

Somehow he has..that weird feeling that he used to know her...

A Legend of Zelda fan fiction. Princess Zelda is engaged to the Gerudo Prince, Ganondorf, though knows that it will only bring Hyrule to destruction. But do her parents care? No, they think that the union between these two countries will be the best for Hyrule. In an attempt to win Zelda over, Ganondorf gives her a personal servant, a slave, named Link. Link soon learns that he has nothing to fear from Zelda and soon starts falling for her, but little does he know that he'll be thrust into the most crazed adventure of his life, one that has the fate of Hyrule hanging on the balance. A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. Hyrule needs a hero, and that hero happens to be Link. Takes place after Breath of the Wild. The cover photo isn't mine! All character rights go to Nintendo, but the plot is mineee! Even with the old threat gone, the knight struggles to adjust to the peace, unsure what his life may be beyond his duty. The peace is shattered though, when traces of an enemy long believed gone begin to arise. The princess and her hero investigate, they soon find themselves torn apart, and thrust into a new world of danger. Will they be able to preserve the victory their friends had given their lives for? And will Link be able to face his greatest fear of all? The Lonely Hero is the sequel to The Lonely Knight, a novelization of BOTW. This book follows the same characters as that book, in this rewritten version of TOTK.

Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people. It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. Although the goddess had first planned to have the hero do his journey alone, she took sympathy for him and decided to create him a partner, one that would aid him during the dangerous travels to the Divine Beasts and finally, Calamity Ganon. That was your purpose. 100 years passed since the defeat of the Champions, although one remained. The one you were to help once he awoke from his slumber. Link. // This is a story entirely based on the game BOTW. Although a few changes will be made the overall story line will be game-based. That doesn't mean there won't be cliffhangers and all that juicy stuff. Yes, romance will play a part, but I just overall hope you guys enjoy the story!
