In an alternate universe Jean-Claude and Asher have just become Masters of St. Louis. Despite having lost someone close to them, they have stuck together. But they feel like they are missing someone, even while missing the person that they lost even after 200 years more or less. Until a young woman who was recovering from trauma unintentionally attracts their attention.
Brittany Nicole Kessler have been through a lot, and thanks to help from a very close friend, has moved to St. Louis. After a promise from that close friend to follow as soon as possible. Soon after moving to St. Louis, she unintentionally attracts the attention of the Master Vampires Jean-Claude and Asher.
Almost immediately they all feel drawn to each other, them to her, and she to them. Will they be able to help her heal? And will they be able to keep her safe, as well as themselves?
