In the frigid depths of 1886, an unrelenting ice age has seized the world, choking the once lush landscapes in its icy grip. Amidst this frozen apocalypse stands C/N, Lord of Greater London, a man whose roots extend far beyond the age of the British Empire. As the relentless winter bore down upon them, C/N discerned the harbingers of doom and embarked on an audacious endeavor: the construction of a colossal landship named Dreadnought. This grand vessel was to carry him and the beleaguered citizens of London to a new life, a glimmer of hope amidst the unyielding ice.

In his fervent determination to bring his vision to life, C/N exhausted his vast wealth, amassed over centuries of existence. Despite the pleas and entreaties of Britain, a long-standing ally, and other nations he had forged friendships with, C/N remained steadfast in his resolve. With unwavering determination, he steered the Dreadnought northward, accompanied by a mere handful of loyal refugees who shared in his unwavering faith.

As the weeks turned to a month, those who had once called C/N a friend despaired losing all hope of his survival, their hopes dwindling like the warmth in their hearts. The world they left behind grew colder and more unforgiving with each passing day, leaving them to struggle for survival in a land gripped by endless winter.

Yet, amidst this bleakness, C/N and his small band of followers pressed on, forging a new destiny in the land they came to know as the Frostland. Around the colossal generator that powered their settlement, they erected a city-a testament to human ingenuity and determination. They named this city "New London," a beacon of warmth and life in a world swallowed by the icy embrace of the unexpected ice age.

Nothing could compare to the way her gaze made me feel. The flames licking my skin and the raging fire in my veins was way more bearable. The moment our eyes connected, it was like my body found a new kind of flame. The kind that only she was able to draw from me. I've never felt my body being set ablaze like this before. One day here in this new town and I was already losing my mind over my new neighbour. A really pretty, hot neighbour. Her long, wavy platinum blonde hair, pale skin and icy blue eyes that seemed to stare depths into my soul and keep me frozen in place. I couldn't seem to leave. Her pink lips were parted slightly as she tried to catch her breath. I swallowed. One step forward and I could hold her. One tilt of my head and I could kiss her lips. If only I could have a taste of those lips- I have to get out of here. I turned and left, my heart nearly overpowering my brain to stop and go back to her. Only one thought kept me going. Who could ever love a monster? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Hey guys! I'm back with a new story and I've had this idea in my head for quite some time and I'm glad to finally be posting it! Firstly, I got inspiration for this book from a Korean drama called "Goblin" and it's one of the best dramas I've come across after so long. Secondly, no reuploading or copying or plagiarising or whatever it is that is illegal because I will slice your neck and leave you hanging to die :) Jk, maybe. Not really. Thirdly, please enjoy this book and leave comments! Sincerely, Janice GoldShaken *Created, Published & Completed in Year 2017* (Editing Complete ~2018)

"Arise now, ye Tarnished. Ye dead, who yet live. The call of long-lost grace speaks to us all!" It was a simple, yet grand purpose to those given a second chance by the Light of Grace. To become Elden Lord and claim the Elden Ring. Many would be emboldened by the flame of that ambition, and many more would perish at the hands of those who wished nothing more than to see the Tarnished dead. Such was the way things were in the Lands Between, shattered and fractured to the point of chaos between its residents. Only a select few would be guided by Grace, however only one would truly be gifted with something incredible. A gift that would render the physical well-being of a soul... unworried in the face of death. Yet the mind of that same individual would only be further damaged from it. So what did it mean to have true immortality? A blessing? Or merely a foul curse in disguise? One Tarnished warrior would grow bitter to it nonetheless, all the while cherishing the one gift he truly had. A friend. One he would do anything to protect, and one he would grow to love in spite of fate itself. This is an Elden Ring Two-Shot story; a Male reader X Melina story. Rand lived in a peaceful but lonely world until Ciaran cracked the snow globe of his youth. Now, memories are flying through his mind as he finds himself alone during a winter storm. But, how can he be alone when he is still haunted by him? For adult eyes only #sitzfleisch #poioumenon #FAEO #ADC #Adultfic #completed Will the accumulating memories bury him or will Rand survive the storm? A peek inside: "In the midst of the kiss, Rand could not believe it was actually happening. Having spent so much time on the other side of the glass, where things are seen but not felt in the snowy world of gay adolescence, the kiss overtook his senses. He had to keep telling himself it was real--this was really happening. When this failed to restore his sense of reality, he reached for Ciaran with both hands. He placed his hands on each side of his neck. As his cool hands felt the warmth there, he convinced himself he was not dreaming, but this left him breathless. 'I'm not sure I can keep up.'" And, from further in: "In a culture that demands male stoicism, Rand was wholly uncertain about how men allowed themselves to be vulnerable with one another. Ciaran found this lack of knowing sweet and refreshingly attractive, and he went about showing Rand how things might be between men. This made Rand feel he could be intimate with Ciaran, but it also made him feel vulnerable. It fueled his fear that he would be unable to keep pace with Ciaran's experience with all he had yet to learn. But, desiring Ciaran, he committed to trying despite his lack of confidence."

Decades. He'd wasted decades of his life doing what? Chasing the minuscule sparks of passion to ease the aching void in his chest? Wasn't there something better? Someone to guide him away from the misery? Distract him from the life he couldn't escape from? There were days he didn't know which way was up and where the sea began. Where the skies collided with the dirt and delved into the inferno of the hells. The whispers of creatures that should have had no interest in a mortal caressing the shell of his ears. Beings he believed to be just as mortal as himself and if one observed their flaws they might have been. Walking the city grounds and sailing the oceans as easily as anyone. Blockades of fire and ice prevented their hands from intertwining. Now he balanced atop the wall. Grabbing both with shaky arms and keeping them close. Please don't leave. Fangs and claws used to claim him. Gentle kisses and caresses to calm him. Breathless words pulled him deeper into the madness. Further into inky darkness speckled with blinding light. Granting him everything he never knew he'd wanted. A dream come reality. Strange how love could spark from pain. How fickle. And how much he only wanted more. ((Heelloooo, thanks for clicking. :3 Its been quite a bit since I've written anything but I wanted to try something new. Celestial London Chronicles #1 Long ago, the sun Xyliath, one of the ancient gods, fell in the first Blood War for peace. Her burning tears formed a flaming sword, which she gave to her son Aurelius. The sword had the power to destroy worlds and create new ones, but above all it possessed a power that no other god had. The ability to kill a god. No man, no hand and no weapon could cut through the skin of a celestial being and take out its heart. The Sword of Xyliath was the only exception. For centuries, the sword was protected by the sun god Aurelius, until it was stolen. The sun god, who has long rivalled the moon god, blames the latter for this and sends his grandson Silthos, the god of love and desire, to capture him. The young god receives support from the most feared deity of all - Aristaeus, the god of blood and war. This unusual partnership is intended to save the world from a possible new assassin of the gods. But the collaboration proves to be more difficult than expected. Silthos' usual charm doesn't seem to attract the god of blood and war, and Aristaeus' penchant for blood and torture even gives Silthos the creeps. Two men - a psycho and an unkissed man who embodies lust and desire. Can they save the world from the power of the sword? Who can they trust and, most importantly, can they trust each other? (⁓ 79.000 words) (This story is written by two persons whose mother language isn't English. Please let us know if there are grammar mistakes and have indulgence with us. Thank you.)
