the world is corrupt, reality is distorted, and ruin is imminent. Fear, despair, deception and oppression run rampant through the veins of our society. When the foundation of our world become blurred and distorted, those that are trapped in the fringes and cracks of it are the most vulnerable to its morphing. Their dreams are crushed, their happiness is robbed, and slowly but surely they succumb to despair and resign themselves to a life they cannot control, or they may even lose that very life and fall into oblivion.

Among the nobodies unnoticed by the world around them, two are exceptional. A Wild Card of fate, if you may. One of them is the Trickster, a brave challenger of the tyrants that impose their unjust rules upon the weak, though he is trapped in a game where victory is not an option, and defeat means death. The other is his savior, the Swan, a graceful soul that desires prosperity unattainable to her, burdened with glass slippers that crush her feet to fit them in, the picture of perfection has rendered her a broken defective doll that cannot fullfil her purpose.

Though their lives seem to lead to certain doom and despair, their hearts are strong and hold the potential to change, and it may be what this corrupted world needed for cleansing...
