Hindsight

Valérie Dubois is a young French girl who recently moved to the Americas with her family for, with a lack of a better word, freedom. With such riches that her family inherited after her grandma's passing, they found a rural home in Nevada that her grandma seemingly kept quiet about. Moving into a new home, let alone moving to a new country, frightened her, but what frightened her the most was her neighbor.

Dominic Edwards was your typical bad boy cliché, getting into trouble and whatnot. He didn't care what anybody felt about him, nor did he care when he spotted a van parked in the driveway of the rundown house that people strictly avoided during Halloween. What did interest him, though, was the petite girl who had cloudy eyes and a wistful facial expression climbing out of the van.
