After his defeat and disbanding of Team Rocket, Giovanni takes on his own and decides that he wants revenge on those who stopped him. So he takes four young, but strong trainers from all around Kanto, two of them being gym leaders, one a well-known trainer, and one an ex-member of Team Rocket, and puts them through torturous hell. Ash has just lost in the Indigo League, due to his Charizard's disobedience. As he and Pikachu are thinking things over by a lake, they are sure in for a nasty surprise. Betrayal.
