Insecurities: Area of my Face

I was a happy, outgoing, confident kid in elementary school, but that changed all because of one statement in middle school. I was insecure, self-conscious, and extremely shy. A comment I heard from one guy at school had brought me to my lowest. His opinion had changed how I viewed myself in a split of a second. I changed my appearance so, that I would fit his beauty standard. This story explains the instance when it had all started. Fortunately now in high school, my story "concaves up"...I am confident again. You can care, but never care too much. Always remember that it is your life and the people around you are merely people with thoughts; thoughts that shouldn't effect yours.
