"Chief! You need to come quick!" Officer Osaka yelled as he burst into the Chief's office, the door slamming into its frame behind him. His usually neat brown hair had been tousled, his composure nowhere to be found.

The Chief immediately rose to his feet and followed the frantic officer into the observation room down the hall. He looked through the one way window into the questioning room.

A man sat unconscious in the chair. His face was hidden due to the way his head lulled to the side, but everyone knew who he was in a heartbeat. His patchwork scars were synonymous with his name.

Upon closer inspection the Chief noticed bruises that littered whatever unburned skin he had.

"How...?" The Chief breathed, confusion written all over his face.

The brown haired officer spoke up, "We don't know. We found him tied up with a note and a black bow taped to his forehead. We thought he was dead when we first saw him."

"Show me the note!" The Chief demanded.

The officer handed him the paper.
