Four elements, Four Houses, Four kids.
Four elements shape the world as we see it today. Guiding hands that give the world order and shape. Never controllable, but certainly guidable in the right circumstances.
Four houses, meant to teach the rare few with the ability to guide the elements. Corrupted to their very core. No longer meant to teach but to control and manipulate.
Four kids, each of whom are more powerful than the house they should belong to. They are each other's closest Allies and they know more truth than their parents, or their grandparents, or just about anyone they've ever met.
Four elements for which guide all around them.
Four Houses meant to guide the elements, corrupt.
Four kids who are woven with the elements themselves.

The balance of nature is a beautiful thing. Everyone knows that balance is helped by Mother Nature. What people don't know is that there is too much chaos in the world for one person to handle. Mother Nature needed help to keep the balance between humans and nature. She chose four people. Four elements. Fire, air, earth, and water. Four people to help control the world's balance with their element. These four people are chosen from birth. Fire is strong and confident, yet badly tempered. Air is free-spirited, often a dancer who likes gossip. Earth is stubborn and greatly built. A great debater. Water is calm and graceful. If you mess with them though they can be worse than fire. Mother Nature chooses the new generation of elements based on who they are inside from birth. She trains them to use their element in secret. If society knew the elements walked among them the results could be catastrophic. People can belief in someone bigger than themselves, but if they knew what really went on the balance would die. The elements are to tell no one of their powers. The four most often form two couples. Mainly fire with air, and earth with water. The balance naturally is two boys and two girls. This is the story of four talented people who changed the rules, and dealt with the biggest natural chaos of mankind, that mankind never knew.
