One night, a young man named Mike is going through the emails on his computer when both him and his girlfriend Jenny stumble across an invitation from an unknown company telling them they have been invited to stay 1 week at an unknown island where a "revolution in genetic technology is taking place", so eventhough the two believe it could be a scam, Mike agrees on going.
From there, both himself and Jenny are taken over to the island along with 12 other random people, who see that the "revolution in genetic technology" they were talking about was taken in the form of living, breathing varients of inanimate objects, from slabs of walking wood to living blazes of fire.
However, despite the objects and their cute looks, both Mike and the others soon realise overtime that no matter what form something takes, an animal is still an animal.

The Object Behind the Slaughter
24 random objects have been selected to go to a resort on a remote island. The place seems a bit off at first, but they don't think to much of it. One of the objects is offered a second chance of getting powers for their own because Two randomly left one day. But, to get the powers they have to do awful things to prove they are worthy. With no recovery centers and one insane object everything goes to hell.... fast. Took inspo from the fanfic Fear Garden by IceMintFreeze and the book The Island by Natasha Preston. This book is intended for a more mature audience, so if you don't like gore I suggest to not read.
BFB STARVATION AU
What would they do to satisfy their hunger? How long will it be until they go insane? For these competitors, they'll do anything to win, even if it means eating their friends. Four has always loved the idea of revival but never got the hang of it. Despite this, the integer, along with their pal X, starts a game show with 64 competitors taking part. All is well until a problem occurs. The objects start to complain about their hunger, which has never been a problem for algebraliens like Four. And so, these objects are stranded in an unfamiliar land, one without food, one without family, one without rules. In this land of zero contact, objects begin to starve, objects begin to go insane. Maybe it is up to a brave few objects to try to take control and limit the deaths and cannibalism. However, will they use their power for good? Or will they abuse it to the point of no return? And as for those other objects... They're hungry. And they'll do anything it takes to survive. An out-of-solar system colony project gone wrong meant Jessie English was stuck doing most of the work assigned to the deceased science crew. Sticking to his morals meant being left for dead by those in charge. By chance, he meets Luc, a member of the planet's sentient avian humanoid species. All Jessie wants to do now is live out the rest of his days with him, and hopefully get past the language barrier that prevents him from communicating the feelings of love he hopes are mutual. Unfortunately, sightings of a human and an alien together are more interesting to the colony's higher-ups than one would hope. *** Born the runt of his clutch, Luc had never held anyone so small, so soft... I can't control it-a BFDI and inanimate insanity fan fiction
I wanted to write a long and funny description, but apparently there is a certain amount of characters you have to use, and I accidentally went over the limit, so here is this instead: All of bfdi are objects (as you know) with superpowers (which you probably didn't know, mainly as this is only true for this story ), but they used to be humans(muse specifically kids) until they were kidnapped and experimented on(and had their memories erased so they wouldn't try to escape). This story is very dark when you think about it. But not all hope is lost, there is 1 who remembers; Leafy. Let's just ignore the fact that for whatever reason everyone gets over their hatred for her really quickly, and even though if this was realistic, right now in chapter 12 they would still hate her, and let's just act like it's normal to forgive her almost straight away, just like it's normal to break the 4th wall XD So basically, she has to make everyone remember, and then they all have to get back home, but she is too scared to as she thinks they will think she's crazy. I mean to be fair, they probably would. She's got no evidence and is claiming on her own to 30 people that everything they've ever known is a lie. Also, she and Firey must deal with their crushes on each other, because they can never touch as if they do he will accidentally set her on fire and kill her. I hope you don't all get confused by the......confusing story, or taken back by 1-how cringy the first few chapters are or 2-how long the chapters/authors notes are. To be fair they are pretty long Also, I nearly forgot to say, but inanimate insanity is also in this. And other things that are interesting are in this book but you have to read to find out what they are So yeah, this is my book. I hope you all enjoy it. <bfdi belongs to jacknjelify and II belongs to animationepic, the only characters in this who I own are not at all relevant to the story. As they wait for the army to rescue them, the kids discover a dark truth about these violent creatures... STORY IS 14+ **Warning, some of the content in this includes: violence, blood and gore, mild themes, mild coarse language and some jokes/words might offend some people EDIT: I noticed that the some of the dialogue that a character is speaking is on the same line as another character. This is a HUGE mistake that I noticed so don't talk about it. This is because I wrote the story on a doc and made the font big and the characters lines were on different sentences.
