L and Rae. Rae and L. They were always together, and that was that. No one had any arguments, because that how it always was. They solved crimes together. They were the inseparable duo.
When the Kira case arises, L finds it best to work the case without Rae, much to her dismay. She's left alone, worrying about his wellbeing, until a year later when she's asked to join the case. But things don't seem to be the same as they were when he left, and Rae's not sure if they'll ever be the same again.
