For high school girl student Clematis Eustaquio, love doesn't exist. She has always believed that strength and wealth are the only things that matter. She dismisses any notion of goodness or greatness, focusing solely on making money and escaping her current life. However, when her family faces bankruptcy and they are forced to move, Clematis has no choice but to put her plans on hold and accompany her family to a remote area in her mother's hometown.
    
    In the early days of her new life in the remote area, Clematis encounters a mysterious boy wandering through the bushes on a dark night.
