The shots were heard. Same day as Johnny Cade. The death of Dallas Winston. Never Happened.
What if the shots didn't affect Dally like he wanted them to? What if he never died, and was now forced to live? Live without the person he loved most. Staying alive when he only wanted to die. Having to bite the bullet that should have killed him.
