It's like my diary, only slightly more organized. I had a writing gap of about 5 years, everything after the poem that says that is new!

This is a personal documentation through poetry. I am learning to look inward now, give myself love when I least want to. I do not live to love others, I live to love myself. I will find and create what is enough for me, and you will learn to let it be enough for you. 2022

My feelings are written So I may find peace I hope you relate To these words as you read

I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences. Along with pieces of life experience advice I've included poetry and spoken word pieces from different perspectives and I try to break down life into beautiful words that people can relate to and see that we all struggle- you're not alone and we are each so valuable.

Poetry for people like me...

There should be a word for a feeling way more painful than disappointment. It's like when you believe in something, give it your all, and then watch it crumble as if it was never possible. It's when not just your heart, but your whole body aches, and you have an overwhelming urge to do something about it, yet feel completely powerless. A disappointment so profound that it quickly turns into numbness because your body can't handle it. That numbness has kept me at home for days. There was no call, not even a message from... him.
