The Golden Cage.

My rushed steps started to echo down the whole length of the hallway that just semeed to be longing and stretching in eternity as the realization washed through my whole body like a bucket of ice cold water that somebody poured onto me, from head to the very toe, from a single nerve to the very core of my brain. My breath becoming raged in just a matter of a few seconds, my heart commencing to pound hardly in my chest, the bursting feeling of my lungs being ripped apart out of exhaustion, with every single breath i took in and gave out, as i found myself sprinting along the length of the corridor, yanking my head backwards, mind full of hopes of not catching in my sight the people that were chasing after me just now.
