Sirius didint take it well; he was in an aweful state. his own little brother abandoning him to join the dark side... it broke him. Sirius broke again when Regulus died. James loved Regulus, there love became secret. James and Regulus were together at Hogwarts, and the love of his life abandoning him to join the dark side... it broke him. James broke again when Regulus died. Remus and Regulus' bond went unnoticed. Remus and Regulus were like siblings; they constantly had sleepovers like little kids and gossiped. his 'makeshift' brother abandoning him to join the dark side... it broke him. Remus broke again when Regulus died. Everyone started to heal, everything was better... then their worlds came crashing down.
