A PLATONIC Wally x reader :D

Y/N is a burned out highschool teen with a passion for handcrafting. When they received a homework for the Summer to make a presentation about an old piece of media, Y/N decided to recreate the famous puppet from the lost show "Welcome Home" that they discovered through a website.
All of a sudden, Wally comes to life. As they go on an adventure to find his way back home, they also discover how he got into their reality in the first place and the true intentions of the show's creator.
But what if Y/N changes their mind? What if they want to keep Wally with them?

Traits of Y/N:
- gender neutral, they/them
- might have some neurodivergent traits (short attention span, trouble making friends, a bit of sensory issues, and perhaps more)

Even after a few days of living there Wally takes an obsession with you and it gets worse everyday. Soon the others started to get hurt and go missing. You need to get out of here.. Made in April 2023 (ik it's old) This story was made around when Welcome home first became much more popular. (For me) and so most things in this story are not canon. I'll admit that when I first wrote this I wasn't aware of the characters sexuality's and what they go by. So for example if I called someone a He when they are She please correct me. I plan to finish this book and then go back and fix all my mistakes. I PERSONALLY. Don't recommend you reading this. I personally hate this book, but I was new to writing when I made this. I'm getting better.

When you were younger you were always so fascinated with puppets, you particularly liked the puppets that could move and talk all on their own, instead of someone playing ventriloquist to make the show seem more interesting. No.. You were far more intrigued about a show that only lasted 4 years on air within a secluded channel no one else would have before it was shut down, the show you watched was called Welcome Home.. And in this show there were no strings or sticks holding up these puppets, not even a single hand wedged up the back of their body to make it seem like they were alive.. No, these puppets walked and talked all on their own, and you enjoyed watching it very much.. you recorded the show on tapes so you could watch them later, but you never expected the show to go off air.. With the heartbreak of the show being gone you put the tapes gently into a box and set them in your attic with your VHS player and old box TV, so you could try and forget all about it and the heartbreak.. But what happens when you get into a bit of a pickle with a lover and you find those tapes again? Read.. To find out..
