Nikhat, a girl born and brought up in a wealthy Muslim family in Bhopal had always dreamt of becoming a skilled doctor. Though an academically bright student, Nikhat faces the challenge of interacting with new people, and finds her companionship in the books she read. Being the elder of the two daughters of Mr. Khan, Nikhat aspires to make her parents proud. She is an obedient girl, someone who has always prioritized her family above anything else. But despite having almost everything she wants, Nikhat feels the emptiness of having someone to make her experience all the romance she has read about in books and watched in movies. A hopeless romantic soul, Nikhat's urge to fall in love is replaced by her ambitions. But can she really keep her desires hidden for long?

Nikhat's monotonous life becomes cheerful again when her teenage love blossoms. But life had it's own twists and turns. In between her love and heartbreak, and all the experiences life enfolds, Nikhat finally finds her peace.

But will she ever get over the heartbreak? Will she ever fall in love again? Who will be her companion for life?
