The citizens of Mobius have lived in peace since the retirement of the nefarious scientist, Dr Ivo Julian Robotnik. King Max Acorn sent the greatest heroes in a program to reduce population and food costs. Watch as they live and learn how dark their darkness can be.

But, years passed, and the personal professor of King Max, later abandoned and betrayed the royal king. He was then branded a traitor. With the distraught of his betrayal, Dr. Eggman was angered by the decisions of the Kingdom. So he wanted to start his own evil kingdom. With living slaves. Now while the King left his rightful place to lead the fight against Eggman, he had to bring someone to protect Sally when he couldn't. He brought upon them, Sonic the Hedgehog. He himself, became orphan after his Uncle Chuck was turned into a robot slave. What will happen of this new power couple?

Some incident has occurred...the world will never remain the same again. The badniks, the eggforces, the enemies that Sonic and his friends, practically everyone was fighting against from the very beginning, had suddenly took no orders from Eggman, probably because none of his machines even remembers him. With no one to command the machines, the machines all wander around and are forced to adapt to the environment and into the societies that feared and despised them. As this happens, some form of disease breaks out as these strange light cyan pollen like things starts to infest the whole Mobius, making any of the living organisms LITERALLY melt. The ones who are not affected by it are of course, the ones who can regenerate and the /machines/. A society where they are forced to work with the eggforces, or what they used to be to survive through an already melting world...like as if that's possible, right? Disclaimer: Since I am a new writer and new to the Sonic fandom still, I may write some of the characters inaccurately. I will try my best to put as much research into the characters as possible to aim for character accuracy. Due to that reason, do expect some slow updates as I want to give more care of this story as I do with the rest of mine. No ships or any sort of romance would be featured or added here due to me, myself as the writer is not comfortable writing that sort of topic. And of course, none of these characters (due to being an AU) rightfully belong to me, they belong to SEGA. These characters are just going to be altered versions of the originals. Mobius has been around for a long time, it is not the first and not the only one, but it is special because of its inhabitants, among the brightest are Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails the Fox , Knuckles the Echidna, Dr. Ivo Robotnik, they are all connected.. Now something familiar to this place appears here, but so distant, and now 1 of them will become an involuntary poppet, and the 3 others will become victims.

Which has the ability to turn thoughts into reality. But they aren't the only ones tracking the source. The evil tyrant roboticist, Dr. Robotnik, back from the Swamp planet after the Death Egg crash in "Sonic and Knuckles", his Imperial Badniks and their allies the Dark Echidna Legion start building a new Death Egg and round up Katia's family and friends. It is now a race against time to prevent Dr. Robotnik from enslaving Earth and Mobius.

Its up to Sonic the hedgehog and the Freedom Fighters to fight back against the mad doctor and save their home. They are not the only ones in this fight however, a mysterious stranger that has been living in the Great Forest meets up with the Freedom Fighters to provide some assistance. Will this stranger be the edge they need to finally take out Robotnik, Read on and find out. ***This story is loosely based on the events of based on the show and the comics, spun in a way that will fit with the plot, so forgive me if I get some details wrong. Also I do not own the rights to the Sonic franchise or the characters I use,(except for the OC's that I create) all credit belongs to SEGA, Archie comics and all the various creators that worked with them.
