Toast of the Town - Nikki Sixx
In the early 1980s, Penny Lane and her best friend Jill meet Mötley Crüe, quickly becoming inseparable from the chaotic rock and roll lifestyle. As they navigate the highs and lows of fame, love, and loss. Penny is a free spirit with a mysterious past. Originally from Australia, she changed her name to Penny Lane at 16, inspired by the Beatles, and left behind a life she refuses to talk about. She's a manic pixie dream girl, filled with charm and unpredictability, but carries the weight of hidden scars. Nikki Sixx becomes her muse-her soulmate, her greatest love-and their story unfolds over decades of heartbreak, betrayal, and rebirth. This story spans decades, following Penny and Nikki through the 80s, 90s, and beyond. Through the chaos, the heartbreak, and the love, Penny and Nikki's connection defies the odds. It's a love story that will burn bright, then flicker, then rise again-just like them.
I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend | Nikki Sixx
"Hi, my name is Carly Dean and this is the story about how I fell in love with the boy I have known since I was 16." I have known Nikki since we were in high school together, him 18, me 16. I knew him back when he was "Frank". We were close for a whole year before he decided to get out and go to L.A. Instead of just letting him go, I ran away with him. I didn't want to lose my best friend. I haven't spoken to my family since then. I thought I knew why I did it, I was 16 and Nikki was my only friend, but looking back, I had begun to fall in love with that crazy boy and I couldn't bear to be apart from him. So, join me on the journey of how I discovered how I fell in love. I had no idea I loved him for all those years until I sat down and looked at him and every part of me screamed, "I love this man."
