Y/N, a beautiful siren with a captivating voice, she was banished from the waters by other mythical creatures like the merfolk. The other creatures believed that her voice was too powerful and could cause chaos among their communities, so they casted her out. She now lives on dry land and longs for the day when she can return to her true home underwater.

One night, while the siren was wandering the shores of a nearby lake, she stumbled upon Astarion, a vampire who had been wounded in battle. Despite his ominous appearance, the siren was immediately drawn to his mysterious nature and decided to approach him. She offered to sing for him, hoping that her voice might comfort him and make him forget his pain. Little did she know, Astarion was even more intrigued by her voice than he was by her beauty, and he was determined to learn more about this fascinating creature.

Sirens are foretold to be breathtakingly beautiful, enchanting, and merciless with their victims. A siren's voice is like poison to their prey: it consumes, it tortures, it destroys. To give mercy to the humans is to be weak, but mercy is all their Princess is made of. Aelila Corearien is the opposite of any other siren. She's selfless, affectionate, incapable of a kill: weak. When the humans poison her kind with a new deadly weapon after years of not attacking, it costs Aelila one of her own and her mother's impending wrath. The Siren Queen sends her daughter on land to carry out her revenge: to kill the human King once and for all. Aelila then finds herself sent into the midst of the human royal court to fulfill her mother's biding, but there's one problem. Aelila can't kill, and she doesn't want to become the monster the deed would make her. Instead, Aelila is thrown into a courtly battle as she faces enemies, self-doubt, and her growing affections for a human Prince. β€’ 🌊||COMPLETED||🌊 πŸ†#10 in "sirens" 2/26/19 πŸ†#5 in "creatures" 3/18/19 πŸ†#1 in "seas" 5/21/19 πŸ†#15 in "medieval" 7/8/19 πŸ†#25 in "mystical" 9/15/19 πŸ†#3 in "siren" 10/17/19 πŸ§œπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ 1k on July 6, 2019‼️ πŸ§œπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ 2k on November 28, 2019‼️ Cover by: @Jells_
