One knife

all of the light went out. i could see the light but i could never walk towards it. i loved the feel of the sun...but i was never allowed in it. i wouldnt melt like the others, and i wouldnt sparkle like the others and i would criple in pain. i would fight it...but i didnt want to hurt those closest to me, thats why i didnt let him in. we were so close, they all thought that we were together...even he was confused. i was confused...i cannot afford to hurt him. he means so much to me and yet i have only known him for such a little time. i guess to escape the darkness...all i need to do is open my eyes.

He was a ugly nerd who was sick of getting bullied. She was the prettiest and nicest girl in school. So he got on his knees, head down and whispered "Fix me."

"Are you looking at me?" The man curved his lips into a smile. He kicked the empty can next to his feet as he walked towards me. He had chestnut colored hair, a high nose, thin lips and green and gold eyes which was like a cat's eyes. "An Easterner? Or are you a mixed race?" He reached out his hand and lifted my face. I was Dark. Everyone else I had ever known in my life was Light. The Light were people born into warmth, love. The Darkness, was the opposite. According to the legends, we were bad people. Cruel. Selfish. Unworthy of love. Incapable of love. Yet, when I landed my gaze upon those green eyes, my entire being had been filled with warmth. Foreign, but addictive warmth. You look up and make eye contact with beautiful green eyes that seem to shine in the bright sun. He kept my gaze and I saw him form a smile and say " You are a nightfury!"
