Amy is at a point in her life where she has no idea exactly what she wants to do, but one thing is certain: she needs to make money quickly.

Mat is a successful hockey player; his whole life, sports have come first. However, after an unfortunate incident, rumors start to spread about him that could forever tarnish his reputation.

From the very beginning, Amy can't stand Matt, but fate, or rather destiny, decides that they will still need each other to achieve what they want. They have to play along, despite their mutual hatred, pretending to be together. "But can they figure out what's real amidst their pretend game, as their feelings take an unexpected turn?"
