Several individuals - Dexter Matthews, James Hartley, Noah Senroe, Taylor Quinn, Mark Rose, Zakaria Richardson, and Samantha Evans - were given superhuman abilities in many different ways. Brought together to work for S.H.A.P., or the Super Human Act of Protection, they took the names 'Lightning Quick' (Dexter), 'Aqueous' (James), 'Bulkhead' (Noah), 'Ebony Spade' (Taylor), 'Psychosis' (Mark), 'Barrage' (Zakaria), and 'Shapeshifter' (Samantha), and are willing to fight anything and anyone who poses a threat to humanity.

But what happens when a familiar face from one of the members' pasts resurfaces as one of the most dangerous Supervillains S.H.A.P has ever faced?
