Andi is the only one who can't be fused with other animal genes despite being of the new earth. Other people are fused with animal genes to survive but his body seems to repeat other beings genes. He's finally fused with a system that chooses the suitable genes and alter them from the genes bank but it still turns out unsuccessful.
