She had hoped that her crush wasn't dating another girl, but here she was, seeing them kiss with her own two eyes. The situation made her upset, but her stomach also hurt from the anger she was feeling. She clenched onto her stomach and willed herself not to cry, but instead, her legs gave way and she landed on her knees, more unsettling anger rushing through her body like large waves. This was too much to handle. As tears escaped from her eyes, Marinette didn't notice the small dark butterfly fluttering towards her.
