Marinette has been hated, disgusted by, and isolated from her very own "friends".  Finally, she falls to one of Hawk Moth's akumas.  Although she's quite cracked, she is not broken.  Cat Noir is able to save her, but Marinette is traumatized because she remembers everything she did.
