My Blue Best Friend (Movie! Sonic x Reader)
For 10 years of Sonic's life, he was sure that he was never going to have a friend, that he would live alone for the rest of his life in Green Hills. He knew everyone but no one knew him. That was until one fateful day... You were Tom's ward and intern, studying to be a cop in Green Hills. Your father was good friends with Tom so when you told him you wanted to be an officer, he knew exactly who to contact. It's been a year now that you've stayed with him and his wife in their humble home with occasional racoons. Biting your lip, you gave him a somber look. "I will come back." You weren't really sure why you said it. In fact, you didn't think you could stay true to that promise. It sounded like you were reassuring yourself more than him. Nonetheless, a burning spurt of determination throbbed in your chest. Sonic assessed you for a moment before shaking his head. "And I'll be waiting." ---------------------------------------------- Green Hills was the only home you've ever known. It may not seem like much, since its population was pretty small. It was a magical place to you. What saddens you the most is leaving your once precious home and going onto a new one, far, far away. But what if that journey gets delayed by a new, unexpected one? When Crazy Carl's stories about the 'Blue Devil' aren't really stories? ---------------------------------------------------------- °Cover created by me! °Except for [Y/N]'s parents, none of the characters belong to me! Sonic Prime x F!Reader [6k - 22k worded chapters] No one knows how you got to Green Hill, and to be honest, no one really cared. All they knew, all you knew, was that you washed ashore one day, covered in salty water and sea weed. Though it was a mystery on how you came to be, no one questioned it as they allowed you to live and thrive with them. No one batted an eye to your odd stick out, it was as if no one cared. It was a clean slate. But clean slates are hard to work with, especially when you know so little about yourself, let alone the world around you. You were curious, yes, but you were also cautious, not sure what approach to take to, well, anyone. Were you considered weird for it? Oddly enough, not at all. However, with built friendships comes tragedy one way or another, that was something you always knew from the beginning. You were always so desperate to try and keep those you consider close safe, but you somehow always manage to screw that up. Now that you're really looking at yourself, you don't seem to be from around here. Who are you again?
A Second Hedgehog?
