The new king of Essetir, Cenred, is invited to Camelot for talks. With him he brings his manservant, Merlin.
When Arthur observes the way Cenred treats Merlin, and the more Arthur finds out, he cannot stop himself to step in and save Merlin.

(I read Kindred's fic Never Alone on AO3 and was really inspired by it I asked if I could write a fic inspired by it. So here it is and it's going to be long, and I hope you guys love it enough for me to keep going with it!)
