I can't see. My vision has just blurred. "AAGH!" A sickening, crackling sound; deafening me, making my ear drums pound. What on earth was that? It just echoed through the abyss so suddenly that I didn't have time to react until after my ears rung and my head was spinning. I felt like I was falling through open space although I knew, my feet were planted firmly to the ground. But with that sound, my worst fears had just been confirmed. They are still after me.
