Kayla, an intern paleontologist and paleobotanist for John Hammond, gets invited to Jurassic Park to deem if it is safe and ready to be presented to the public in three weeks. Getting teamed up with a blood sucking lawyer, an egotistical chaotician, two scientists who seem to love the other, yet both are oblivious, and two of Hammonds grandchildren they all get sent on a tour of the park. The amazement is cut short when they begin to realize that bringing back the past is not a good idea.

They were still building the park so while that was happening, In-Gen would hatch dinosaurs. This way when the park was open, not all the dinosaurs would be babies.
