Sodapop Curtis was attractive. There was no doubt about it. 

He would bring in girls from the East, West, South, and North sides of Tulsa. He was a magnet for all the genders, and yes I did mean all. Of course, guys couldn't show that they were checking Soda out and they couldn't make advances, cause let's be real, it's 1965. Still, those guys would check him out. No doubt about it. 

One thing though, Soda usually turned down all the advances. Now, you may be asking: Why would an attractive guy turn down attractive girls? Wouldn't he want to get over his ex-girlfriend Sandy?

The thing is, Sodapop Curtis has a secret. A secret crush. And you may be wondering, who's the lucky person? Who does the most attractive guy in Tulsa want to give his heart to?

The sad news, however, is that Soda could never give his heart to his crush. Why?
