Yuki is a strong, independent, and kind women, that carries a deadly family secret. She is a combination between American,Mexican, and Japanese. She is born in America, but moves to Kyoto, Japan with her father when she turns six, leaving her mother, and four older sisters behind. 
She lives there for the rest of her life, happily until her father is assassinated, by Kazama Chikage, 14 years afterwards. 

Yuki leaves her home and stumbles upon The Shinsengumi. She is taken as a hostage, but later become their friend and comrade. Together they face off many of the failed Fury's and Rouge samurai, along with Yuki's taste for revenge.
