"I think I'm actually gonna graduate." Eddie's mumble quietly rolled from his lips. The softness hidden in Steve's eyes caused tears to fall from his own. They trickled over the bridge of his nose sideways down his face. 
"I think it's my year, Harrington," Eddie tilted his head back and rested it against Steve's arm. 
"I think it's finally my year." 
Steve hurriedly began to lift him bridal-style. "We aren't doing this. Get up."


After killing Vecna (or so they think), Steve finds himself coming to the aid of a bloodied, wounded Eddie. Bound by trauma and nearly identical scars, the two realize they can only find relief from the unrelenting nightmares through each other -- but there's something else brewing between them that Steve refuses to acknowledge. While the party stays at the hospital with an assumably braindead Max, Will begins to discover that he might play a bigger role in protecting Hawkins than he thought.

Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more? I do not own rights to the ST characters or themes but I do own rights to my own storyline. I will be using pictures from artists that I find as the art for each chapter.
