"I think I'm actually gonna graduate."
Eddie's mumble quietly rolled from his lips. The softness hidden in Steve's eyes caused tears to fall from his own. They trickled over the bridge of his nose sideways down his face.
"I think it's my year, Harrington,"
Eddie tilted his head back and rested it against Steve's arm. "I think it's finally my year."
Steve hurriedly began to lift him bridal-style. "We aren't doing this. Get up." After killing Vecna (or so they think), Steve finds himself coming to the aid of a bloodied, wounded Eddie. Bound by trauma and nearly identical scars, the two realize they can only find relief from the unrelenting nightmares through each other -- but there's something else brewing between them that Steve refuses to acknowledge. While the party stays at the hospital with an assumably braindead Max, Will begins to discover that he might play a bigger role in protecting Hawkins than he thought.
