Overview:
This is an edited copy of a poem I wrote a few months back.
In short, I talk about how fire, love and destruction are all linked like one thing. How this 'great' thing called love is like a candle burning; it looks so soft, fluffy and it seems a beautiful thing, Alas the looks is nothing but a disguise, a magic trick if you will to cover up its true intention of causing pain, suffering and destruction.
In the later part I talk of how fire is not only a symbol of pain, but of hope and future growth, that without it life would not be life.
All in all I am admiring the beauty of fire, but I am using it as a metaphor for love and for hate, "I am reminded of its pain."
--So much on this earth is a miracle. But we fail to see them --
Two friends. One ceremony. One terrible accident.
When Jade ended up with something life changing, she thought everything was over for her. And maybe it was.
Someone can light a small flame of hope in everyone of us. But sometimes it turns into an inferno and burns us all.
I had to write this for a school project and my friend said it was pretty good, so now I'm just "Jesus take the wheel"
I got inspired by Disney's "Encanto", but the storyline and the characters are made by me.
I first wrote this in 2022, and now, two years later I'm going over it again and again, slowly editing and stuff sooo...please be patient with me, my writing gets better, I swear.
-OC short story, if anyone cares
