It's amazing how you get to spend one day with a person you never expected to give you such an extra ordinary feeling, maybe because you never saw it coming your way or maybe you just let your guard down.
Probably, one way or another you'll try to avoid that kind of feeling, but who are we kidding, we can't avoid it even in the slightest second.
People say, "just go with the flow" but sometimes going with it, will somehow hurt you in the end, when you, yourself already knew it was going to happen.
Such a foolish thing right? But that's just how it goes.
Maybe spending a day with you, would have been more than enough to realize how I really felt.
But, maybe, just maybe.

An Endless Day
"Alright, it's 12 noon. Deal or not?" I couldn't look at him, so I stared at the beauty in front of me. Somehow I knew he was watching it too. I felt like we were characters of a famous story, standing side by side, gazing ahead. I hesitated, my heart was beating fast, I was almost afraid that he's going to hear it too. But for the first time in my life, I trusted my heart and told my brain to go to hell. The girl lead in this story was going to do what she wanted, and won't fear the consequences. "Let's do this." I said and turned towards him. We remained silent for a couple of moments, absorbing the meaning of the deal we just agreed to. And then I saw his lips turned upwards just enough for me to notice. He turned to me and held my hand. I felt several emotions just by touching him. Nervousness, excitement, fear, happiness all at once. I pushed them all aside, and smiled ear to ear. He held his hand up, counting down to three, my heart racing with every finger he raised. And just as he finished, we jumped off the cliff.Complete

I was only 7 when I met her, but we had an instant connection. We were inseperable. She was always happy and joyful around me, but me on the other hand, I was a completely different story. Mostly because I wanted to make my mark on the world. To have my life mean something. So if he forgets then I must come back. I fear that if I don't my life would've been for nothing. And that all the time and energy I had put in each day would be for nothing. I'm afraid to fail. And the biggest failure of all is to be forgotten once you're gone.
