Eva Shaw is a 17 year old ordinary school girl with ordinary interests and hobbies. Goes to an ordinary school. Lives an ordinary life with her grandpa after losing her parents at the age of 12 in a mysterious car accident. She is quite contented with her ordinary life with not many friends and many many books. The night of her 17th birthday she realizes that her ordinary life isn't really ordinary. Its full of secrets. On her birthday night her grandpa goes missing, leaving behind him an antique box and a letter as her birthday present. After that her life takes a move upside down. She falls into a world of secret societies, lost symbols with a crap load of responsibility as a guardian. Protector of something mysterious, something lost for the world hundreds of years ago.
 Will she be able to survive as a guardian with a boy whom destiny has chosen as her cohort, and her best friend as crony?
