There's an underground faction in each major city at all four points of the compass.

An underground faction of paranormal beings that run the city they live in.

Vampires.

Werewolves.

Incubi.

Witches.

They are male-led organizations with the firstborn son of each Family becoming the successor. Until Alpha Rossi in New York City has one daughter and one daughter only. Aurora is more dominant than any of her cousins and has spent her formative years acting as an enforcer for her father. She has lied, cheated, killed, with little to no remorse, and has no interest in settling down.

Until the time comes for Alpha Rossi to retire.

And Aurora is forced to marry a son from one of the other Families in order to keep her father's throne.
