Two years ago, the lycans came out of hiding and took over the world. Werewolf packs were wiped out, humans were enslaved, and other supernatural species were deemed as abominations.
Amara Black is classified as one of these abominations. She's a half-breed: half werewolf, half human. The lycans have been relentless in their chase, but she continuously slips through their claws. Two years on the run have made her a professional escape artist.
One careless mistake leads to her capture and she's dragged back to one of the most ruthless lycan packs. She's thrown to the wolves (quite literally) and forced to kneel before the power hungry beasts that took everything from her.
But there is one thing Amara is known for, and it's not submission. Due to her inability to cooperate, she expects immediate death, but is enslaved with the humans instead.
