River is a non-binary teenager that has enough of life, so their only goal is to find their "Black bullet", a creature who's only task is to find the living creature they have been attributed to and kill them. This is the only way of dying, but that leaves River with no choice but to agree to do things they never would've done before to finally discover the sweet relief of Death.
