Broken down by a war too young, Azriel was sure he'd always find himself alone and surrounded by his deepest fears. Desperate to find his purpose and place, he follows behind his brothers as they continue to live when he feels like he's drifting away. Could the one he had always wanted be his answer to bring the light to his past and present? Is there a hidden light in the shadows?

Freyja, the daughter of the High Lord of the Night Court, finds herself too restless to live the docile Lady life she'd been groomed for. Nothing more than a promise of currency to the heir of another court, she's desperate to find any way out. Deciding between love or war, darkness or bloodshed, her fight is endless. 

Could they find comfort in each other's distress? An escape within each other in hidden shadows and suppressed desire? Do they have enough time to learn what what peace feels like? With a rivalry growing stronger beyond their control, could it all fall apart?
