Dear diary, middle school is full of toxic waste, but they prefer to identify themselves as popular kids. Not all of middle school is toxic waste though. The few empathetic people who use their brains and common sense are the best people you can find. This is my second year of middle school, and it hasn't gotten much better, but here's hoping.
