"I already killed your mother, Cam." As the words left my enemy's mouth like a mocking sneer, I growled under my breath at the mention of my old name. Memories started to boil up that I had been wanting to squash deep into my heart. Bad memories. "As you can guess, I'm here to finish the job." He continued with that ever-present sinister smirk on his face. And in that moment, a sudden burst of confidence just appeared within me. Or blatant stupidity. 'I'll take either one.' I silently admitted to myself. I rolled my eyes at his so-called 'threat', not really intimidated in the least. "Yeah, like that went so well the first time. The first time, you fucked up enough to get caught by the police." I pointed out. "The second time, your grown-ass men got their asses handed to them by two teenagers." I snorted at him. "Your odds aren't looking too good here, Berti." ~•~ Losing her father? Lovely. Getting in a car accident with her aunt, uncle, and cousin and being the sole survivor? Fantastic. Losing her mother because a deranged psychopath holds a grudge even better than The Grinch? Amazing. Being ostracized from her own family save from her paternal grandparents, and getting the blame for her mother's death? Cherry on top of the cake. Having to make sure three idiotic twats don't get themselves killed because they couldn't mind their own bloody business? Bloody hell, that's an entire ice cream cake with ten pounds of gummy bears. ~•~ Join Grace Stanton as she faces her demons and the demons of her past all while trying not to commit murder against her three new friends. Fun times. (First book in the Gilded series) ~•~ [#1 Streetracer - 4/21/21] [#1 Gangs - 9/16/21] [#1 Boxer - 9/12/21] [#1 Fighter - 12/11/21] [#2 Boxing - 9/3/21] [#1 Girlpower - 2/12/21]

"A gift." One guard says to someone else in the room as he leaves. I groan in pain and scrunch myself into a ball, squeezing my eyes shut. Seconds later I hear shuffling and then someone is beside me. "Y/N?" Asks a voice. No- Bucky's voice. My whole body relaxes and I let out a soft breath. He's ok. ════ ⋆★⋆ ════ Staying together has always been the most important thing to Y/N Rogers. After the death of her mother left her an orphaned 15-year-old, her friendship with her older brother Steve and best friend Bucky mattered more than ever. She latched onto them, finding some bittersweet solace in their closeness. In turn, they finished raising her. The three were inseparable. Even now, six years later, nothing has changed. So when Bucky and Steve both leave to fight in the war the last thing she's going to do is stay in Brooklyn. Nothing's too far if it keeps their trio together. Not leaving everything she knows behind, not shoving down feelings she's refused to acknowledge for years, not even risking her life time and time again. It's the kind of commitment fueled by an infinite amount of love, but guaranteed to end in disaster, every single time. "You should care, Dylan. You would still be living in the back of a car, stealing from Seven Eleven! Is that what you want?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The "Four Musketeers." That's what they called them. If they weren't all together they were two on two. And they give zero fucks about life. The Adopted one The Bad boy The Player The Best friend Dylan is like most troubled girls. She doesn't care about her grades, she skips school, hangs with the wrong crowds, and hates her parents. But of course there's a reason for all of this. Dylan is adopted. Dylan has always struggled with being adopted and she tends to fight everything in life. Many bad memories cause her to be the way she is. She desperately wants to forget her past, including some bad things she experienced, but the memories stay stuck in her mind. Dylan has three best friends who help her get by. The only three people she 100% trust and doesn't like to. They all have their own problems and lies they tell, but they help each other through it all. Especially her boyfriend Vince, who would do absolutely anything for her. He would die a thousand times over before anyone hurt Dylan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Dylan's not just my whole life, she makes my life whole. Some days she's the only reason I get out of bed. Without her in my life there is no point in living. She's like the air I breathe. Without her I can't live. She's my best friend and I will love her to the day I die." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This summer Dylan gets the opportunity to do what every guidance counselor has claimed she's always wanted to do . . . split up her family. Will she realize splitting up her family won't help anything? Or will she just not care? After all she was abandoned once. Thaila Strand is Tk's half sister. Despite the fact that they are family they have never met. It didn't help that they lived thousands of miles away from each other. Yet it all changes.... This is set at the end of Season One of 9-1-1 Lonestar. Sequel is not happening, sorry :/ --------- I don't own 9-1-1 Lonestar or any of the characters in it. I am merely making a fanfiction because I thought there weren't enough.
