This is an alternate version and continuation of notastumph's Kick Drum Beating in My Chest Again.
It is a different take on Prison Break, only with Vampires.  Patrick is a doctor in a prison and is happily married.  One day a new prisoner comes in named Pete Wentz, who is there to break William Beckett out of prison.  Pete arranges for a riot of the prisoners to act as a distraction for his escape plan, but it fails.  Afterwards, Patrick feels himself being drawn to Pete and he doesn't know why.  When Patrick has to transfer a stabbing patient to the hospital, things go very, very wrong.   Patrick is framed for a crime he didn't commit.  How will he adjust to life in prison?  How will he get out?  Will he ever see Pete again?

There are several scenarios that Pete suspects to walk in on when he arrives back at the hospital: Scenario 1: Vegas is still asleep and Macau and Tankhun have somehow managed to remain civil towards each other. This seems like the least likely scenario. Scenario 2: Vegas is still asleep and Tankhun has tied Macau to a chair for the hell of it. While this would cause a great amount of trouble, it is almost comforting in its normalcy. Scenario 3: Vegas has woken up and spilled every single secret that he has in his drugged up state, leaving him even more vulnerable than ever.
