The day approached when she could step onto the court once more, Xeira realized that her detour had not been in vain.. The skills she honed and the knowledge she gained during her time away from basketball have enriched her perspective. They made her stronger, both physically and mentally, and gave her the inspiration to keep going.

Tumingin ako sa aking orasan at inayos ang suot kong makapal na leather jacket. Napahinga ako ng malalim bago tumingin sa aking wrist watch. Mukhang ma-l-late na naman ako. As I was to go back para sumakay sa aking sasakyan biglang may nag vibrate sa bulsa ng aking jacket. It was my phone. I immediately took it out and answered the call. It was Zacharious. "Augustine-" The deep voice of Zacharious lingered my ears. "Everything is okay. Tomorrow is my flight, I know. And I am okay." Putol ko sa taong nasa kabilang linya.
