                                                   - - -

After trudging through and failing in the murky freelancing waters of her hometown in central Texas, 22-year-old dancer, Dawn Bronagh, moves to L.A. with her mind set on reshaping her life. The first step: perform live with the internationally renowned Marlin Breen Dance Company.

Confident that there is no chance of failure, Dawn feels nothing can hinder her success. But on the day of her big performance, a phantom of her past throws a monkey wrench into her perfected plans.

Reignited anger mixed with free-ranging fear and pulls at her heartstrings doesn't help Dawn find a remedy to this ex-lover-induced problem, and she's running out of time. With only eight hours on the clock, Dawn is determined to find an answer before any possible failure comes to a close, but the answer may not be the one she was looking for.

This is my first sweet-romance and I'm really excited to be on Wattpad! I'd love to get your thoughts on the story. I really wanted to write a story where the main characters take charge of their lives. But, I didn't want to simply flip the age-old stereotype of boy rescues girl/girl rescues boy. I wanted a heroine and hero that pull themselves out of trouble and are not dependent on each other for salvation. I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether I achieved that or not! Sincerely, JD
