In a small town, Hope, a student, faces an unexpected assignment from her teacher: write a story about love. Unbeknownst to everyone, this task carries a hidden agenda, for Hope's heart still aches from her past relationship with Arthur, her ex-boyfriend. Struggling to find the words to express her unsaid feelings, Hope hesitates, her pen hovering over the blank page.

As she begins to pour her heart into the story of Arthur and herself, a strange twist of fate occurs. Hope found an old walkie talkie. Curiosity piqued, she switches it on and, to her astonishment, connects with a mysterious stranger named Kiel on the other end.

As Hope and Kiel's unexpected friendship blossoms through late-night conversations, their lives become intertwined in ways neither could have predicted.
